While surfing youtube today, I had the sudden urge to listen to some old school music, yo. Do you remember…
1) S Club 7
This was the music of my Pri 6 existence. The A1, S Club 7 and Westlife experience. It was wild fun to listen to the music and cringe at the corny music videos at the same time! Listening to Classics like “Don’t Stop”, “Two in a Million”, and the like is Coolio shit. Oh, oh! And Rachel is HOT.
2) Effiel 65
This is like the only song that I know of them. Isn’t this song always floating somewhere in your mind, those born in the 90s? Yes, a classic song of the century. I was informed by my Bengz NS colleague that this was one of the Ah Beng anthems of yesteryear. Oh well, there’s always a inner bengz/lianx in everyone.
3) 林憶蓮-紙飛機
This was one of the last few Chinese songs before the stint in USA. I didnt even realize Ariel Lin 林依晨 was in the MV! Soothing and slow. But nonetheless nice.

Ok, now on to the future.
I have decided… that I am still unsure of the future. But just to have something to work towards to, I think that in the event that I follow my dad’s footstep and go into the civil service, I will want to work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry of Education. And I will have to work hard, because you don’t lose to the scholars. You just dont. Just because they’re lucky when they’re young to be awarded the scholarships doesnt mean that the rest of us cannot be better than them.
